Rayo Vallecano are favourites to sign Chelsea winger Gael Kakuta.

L'Equipe says Kakuta has not made an appearance for Chelsea since January 2011 and the attacker looks set for another loan spell away from Stamford Bridge.

Rayo Vallecano are close to agreeing a deal with Chelsea for Kakuta, who had also been linked with Sporting Lisbon.

The 23-year-old has previously been on loan at Fulham, Bolton Wanderers, Dijon, Vitesse Arnhem and Lazio.
