Rayo Vallecano have confirmed they're in talks with Wigan Athletic over the sale of Mohamed Diame and Antonio Amaya.
Both players are understood to have agreed three-year deals at the DW Stadium, but the transfers are yet to be finalised.
It is believed Wigan have agreed to pay around £3.5million for the duo and Latics boss Roberto Martinez will be hoping to have both signed up by the weekend.
A statement on Rayo's website states: "We have not yet completed a deal with Wigan for our players Diame and Amaya.
"The talks are very advanced, but there are still loose ends to be tied up."
