Rayo Vallecano coach Jose Ramon Sandoval is a surprise candidate for the Swansea City job.
The Daily Mail says Swansea are casting their net wide to replace new Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers after talks with Wigan Athletic No2 Graeme Jones broke down.
Sandoval, who managed to keep Rayo Vallecano in the Spanish La Liga this season, has been linked with the job, so too has Michael Laudrup.
Byram Tutumlu, Laudrup's agent, said: "We have not heard anything from Swansea."
