Rayo Vallecano coach Paco Jemez has no regrets criticising Real Madrid over hiring Zinedine Zidane as Castilla coach without the necessary qualifications.
Zidane has since been cleared to take charge by a Spanish high courting ruling.
"I do not regret what I said about Zidane. I'm sorry that I am considered antimadridista at Real Madrid, I respect them very much," said Jemez.
"Someone asked me and I gave my opinion and stand by it. I do not have a war with Zidane.
"When he has his title and is dedicated to coach, if he shows half the talent as he did as a player, he will do great."
