Rayo Vallecano buys US club Oklahoma City

Rayo Vallecano have bought themselves a club in the USA.

Rayo sporting director Felipe Miñambres travelled to the U.S. on Monday to sign off on a deal three years in the making: the acquisition of Oklahoma City which will compete in 2016 in the NASL, the North American Soccer League where Raúl and Senna currently play for the New York Cosmos.

La Liga's Rayo Vallecano de Madrid teamed up with local businessman Sean Jones to bring a North American Soccer League (NASL) club to Oklahoma City.

Rayo OKC will begin play in the 2016 NASL Spring Season.
