Former Manchester United and Chelsea midfielder Ray Wilkins has been warned over his drinking.
The Mirror reports Wilkins was warned he could face jail after admitting a drink driving charge.
The ex-Manchester United and Chelsea star pleaded guilty to being three times over the limit when he was stopped early this month.
Wilkins, 59, was arrested near Heathrow Airport on the way back from a charity golf day on July 1.
Deputy District Judge Tim Boswell warned him: “All options are open, including immediate custody."
Wilkins booked himself into the Priory following his arrest to beat his battle with the bottle.
His lawyer Sarah-Kate McIntyre told the court the ex-midfielder, capped 84 times by his country, was due to finish his treatment next week.
