Raul insists Fabio Capello's sacking over the summer in favour of Bernd Schuster is just the way Real works.
"We are professional and everybody knows that at a great club like Madrid the changes of coach are regular. I have been here 13 years and must have had close to a dozen or more.
"The important thing is to have a strong mentality and we know that in three or four weeks the team will be stronger, more united and will bring joy to the fans."
Asked if Capello's dismissal surprised him, Raul said: "I always said that the decisions and the valuations should be done at the end of the season. The club took this decision and for the players, we are here only to go to Valdebebas, train and prepare to win titles. In addition, nobody is essential and less so at a club like Madrid."
On Real's summer signings, Raul added: "Those that have been signed aren't big media names, but they have arrived as important players. The success of a good group is its balance. Now, after Zidane, Figo, Ronaldo, Beckham and Roberto Carlos no longer are we called the Galacticos.
"But those that have arrived have ambition, hunger and in one or two years will be world-wide stars. We have a good mixture of veterans with experience and youngsters with future and quality. This is a balanced group. I like it a lot."
