The agent of Raul admits the Real Madrid legend has put off new contract talks with Schalke.

Gines Carvajal says a new deal has already been tabled.

"Schalke offered a one year contract to Raul. In fact, they offered it last year. But it was rejected because Raul wanted to know how this season would end and how he would face the next one.

"Raul has a contract until 2012 and at 35 years of age wants to be very sure he can do certain things," he said.
