Razvan Rat has assured West Ham United fans he'll break the Romanian mould.
West Ham fans have bitter memories of Romanian mercenaries - after Florin Raducioiu's ill-fated stint with the club in the 90s.
But Rat, who turned down Besiktas and Marseille to sign a three-year-deal at Upton Park, is determined to prove he is not chasing an easy pay packet.
He said: "People will see the type of man I am. I chose to be in the Premier League. We can go for the Europa League and who knows what might happen in the cups."
