Ranieri warns Juventus: Bigger squad needed

"We have performed extremely well," said Ranieri. "To qualify for the Champions League after returning from Serie B is a great achievement, but everyone must remember we have been able to take advantage of a situation where we are playing only once-a-week."

Asked about Juve's pursuit of Palermo striker Amauri, Ranieri added: "Amauri is a great player, he would be one more quality player in the changing room, but he wouldn't be enough to win the Scudetto.

"We need two players for each role, plus two or three players for emergencies: playing more competitions we will need more depth."
