Former AS Roma and Juventus director Giampaolo Montali could be on the move to Inter Milan.
Montali is close to new Inter coach Claudio Ranieri, who would like the ex-Roma technical chief to join him in the next week.
The arrival of Montali could heap more pressure on general manager Marco Branca, who is wanted at Manchester City by former Inter coach Roberto Mancini.
