Sacked Inter Milan coach Claudio Ranieri pumped up Andrea Stramaccioni's qualities to team officials, reveals GM Ernesto Paolillo.
The 36 year-old was unveiled as Ranieri's successor yesterday.
Paolillo said: "Ranieri recommended him.
"In May we were sitting together on the plane and Ranieri told me the young technician had a great future."
