Claudio Ranieri has insisted that he wants to stay with Leicester City for the long haul. Ranieri is not getting carried away by Leicester's fine start to the season though and has stated that he has long term ambitions with the Foxes.
Ranieri told the Leicester Mercury: "The chairman has asked me to build my foundations for the first three years and then we fight. But I want to fight immediately, with ambition. I want to see at the end of the year where Leicester is.
"Now it is not important to be near the top of the league. It is important in May where Leicester is. Now it is important to pick three points from our next game, and then the next, not to talk about being top of the league. Now my goal is to do well here and stay here for a long time."
