New Roma coach Claudio Ranieri will demand more steel from his players after his arrival.
"I have stepped into the breach at Parma, Valencia and Chelsea. When there are changes, it's because something is not going right," said Ranieri.
"We have to react, that is what is behind all success. We keep seeing the performances of 14 months ago, but the old Roma is gone. We have to keep quiet and work hard to bring it back to those levels with balance and grit."
It is a very special job for Ranieri, who is from the capital and has supported the Giallorossi since childhood.
"I am very excited and this line of work gives both positive and negative emotions. This is my home, I have to experience it to the full. Maybe in a little while someone will tell me to get lost."
