Claudio Ranieri could be named new coach of Inter Milan this morning. Inter president Massimo Moratti is spending tonight mulling over the future of coach Gian Piero Gasperini after last night's shock 3-1 defeat to little Novara.
Former Chelsea and Juventus boss Ranieri is in pole position to take charge of the fallen giants.
Interestingly, Sport Italia says Moratti has informed general manager Marco Branca he wants to make this decision alone. The relationship between the pair is frosty as it was Branca who drove the appointment of Gasperini over the summer.
