Rangers winger Gregg Wylde hopes his fellow wideman Sone Aluko stays at the club past this summer.

The former Aberdeen man is only contracted at Ibrox until the end of the season but Wylde feels his impact has been important and is urging him to take up the option on a two-year permanent deal.

"He has done well so far. He has ability and he can get past players," Wylde said.

"He can play on the left or the right or off the striker.

"It would be good to keep him at Ibrox for as long as possible."
