Rangers wingback Steven Whittaker is likely to play on the weekend despite having a broken toe.
The 27-year old sustained the injury against Malmo in Champions League qualifying last week but is a big chance of taking on Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the Scottish Premier League according to manager Ally McCoist.
"Steven Whittaker suffered a problem in the game against Malmo," McCoist told Rangers TV.
"He went for an X-ray and something has shown up in one of his toes. We didn't think it is anything too major and we would hope he would be fit for Saturday's game at Inverness.
"We are going to sit down and have a chat with the doctor. Although it is very painful it might be a situation where he will be able to play with it.
"Obviously the most important thing is that he is right to play.
"We don't want to do any more damage, so time will tell."
