Rangers icon Davie Weir has confirmed he rejected Everton during the summer.
Weir admits a coaching offer from his former club was on the table.
"People always tell me to play as long as I can," he told the Scottish Sun.
"Davie Moyes has offered me a job these past two summers - he said there was a coaching position at Goodison for me.
"I know by not accepting it I am putting the chance of a position there at risk.
"I would learn a lot, but Davie tells me to keep playing!
"An opportunity like Everton doesn't come along that often.
"I felt in the summer I wasn't finished and that's because of the success I've had.
"You get greedy. The more you win the more you enjoy it."
