Rangers trials for American duo

Rangers have handed trials to two American players.

Gers have taken two more American players on trial: Andrew Quinn, the University of Notre Dame goalkeeper, and Kwaku Nyamekye, a central defender with Columbus Crew.

Quinn, 22, is believed to have been recommended to Rangers by Bobby Clark, the former Aberdeen goalkeeper, who has been the Notre Dame football coach for the past eight years. The goalkeeper is due to spend a week with Rangers on trial.
