Rangers could potentially miss out on two recent trialists with Enar Jaager returning home and Zlatan Muslimovic trying his luck with Sunderland.
27-year old defender Jaager has headed back home to Estonia after a successful trial at Murray Park but is unsure if he will become a 'Gers player as the club did not offer him a deal.
"I am a bit sad there is no agreement yet, but there is nothing I can do now. I enjoyed my spell in Glasgow and it was pleasing the coach liked me.
"The trial went well and I feel I have done my part. But it is not my place to discuss what the future decision may be.
"I haven't heard anything and all I can do is wait and see if they are going to make an offer.
"But I cannot wait around forever. I don't have a contract with anyone at the moment and I need to try to get something sorted out.""I am back in Estonia and don't know what is happening," he said.
Meanwhile, Bosnia international Muslimovic did not play in a bounce match on Tuesday as he headed to the Stadium of Light to link up with Sunderland boss Martin O'Neill who is keen to run the rule over him.
