Northern Ireland and Rangers striker Andrew Little accepts he may have to seek a loan move from Ibrox in order to gain first-team football. "The fact that I made my first international appearance is a big boost for me," the 19 year old told the Daily Record.
"Hopefully, when I get back to Rangers this can help push me on.
"I can't get carried away with myself, though. I only got called into the squad at the last minute and I have to go back to my club at the end of the week and continue to work hard.
"If I get a wee chance then it would be brilliant but it's more likely I will go out on loan next season.
"There is such competition for places. It's a big thing to play for Rangers. I understand I might have to wait.
"I may have to go down to First Division level to get a bit of experience before I start looking to the senior squad.
"I think there are 28 first-team players at Rangers. All internationals, all top class."
