Rangers boss Walter Smith was delighted with victory over Kilmarnock last night.
Strikes from Steven Whittaker and Kenny Miller gave Rangers victory at Kilmarnock to leave them just SIX wins from the title.
Smith said: "To go a whole calendar year suffering just one league defeat is a fair achievement I must say. There has been a level of consistency in terms of results.
"The players have been just incredible during that spell of results and games and you can't praise them enough.
"This was another big game for us tonight, another big test, but they showed that resilience I've been talking about.
"These were two massive matches for us and I was a little concerned.
"We didn't reach a great level against St Mirren on Saturday and we didn't again against Kilmarnock.
"We got the result and at this stage of the season that is all that matters."
