Recent reports suggest that Scottish champion Rangers are showing considerable interest in Napoli centre-half Emilson Sanchez Cribari.
It is believed that new 'Gers boss Ally McCoist has been offered the 31-year old Brazilian stopper who has been told he can leave the Italian Serie A club on a free transfer this summer.
Cribari could be brought in as cover for veteran David Weir, whose future is still unknown as he ponders his playing career, and the Brazilian's agents are supposedly working on a deal to bring the former Empoli, Udinese and Lazio man to the UK.
