Manchester City boss Sven Goran Eriksson is ready to send striker Georgios Samaras away.
City have accepted Rangers' £2.75million offer for the 22-year-old Samaras and the 6ft 4in striker - signed from Dutch side Heerenveen two years ago for £6m - is considering his next move after also attracting Bolton, Middlesbrough, and Espanyol, says the Evening Times.
It is believed that Samaras has been offered a three-and-a-half-year deal worth more than £1.3m a season, which would make him the highest paid player at Rangers.
