Rangers are eyeing Derby County goalkeeper Lewis Price in a swap for Roy Carroll.

The Mirror says Welsh international Price has been told he can leave Pride Park by Paul Jewell - and it's up to him if he fancies action at Ibrox.

Carroll has been on the verge of going to Derby for weeks in a deal held up while Gers boss Walter Smith sorted out a replacement, which now seems destined to be Price.
