Rangers have expanded their soccer schools portfolio through a new partnership with Bangalore-based Gameday Arts Academy, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/.

The agreement, which is a first for the Scottish Premiership outfit in India, will see talented children from the academy given exclusive access to the club's training centre in Scotland, where they will experience training sessions from qualified academy coaching staff.

Additionally, Rangers staff will travel to India to identify players and develop the resident coaching team at the Gameday Arts Academy.

Gary Gibson, soccer schools manager for Rangers, said: "We are delighted to announce the partnership with Gameday Arts Academy. It is our first partner from India and represents a real opportunity to engage promising young footballers. We look forward to building this association for many years to come."
