Honduran club Motagua have blasted Rangers for tabling an unimpressive offer for midfielder Jorge Claros.
The 26-year old did well on trial with the reigning Scottish champions recently but he has been forced back to his homeland as the Glasgow giants' bid was far below Motagua's valuation.
The Honduras international is valued at near £800,000 by his club but Rangers reportedly offered significantly less which Motagua president Pedro Atala criticised.
"He is a very good player and deserves to be treated better than this.""The truth is that Rangers offered an absurd amount for Claros. We made it clear from the start what we believed was a fair price," he told the Daily Record.
