Rangers presented with SPL trophy

Rangers were presented with the Clydesdale Bank Premier League trophy after Sunday's match against Motherwell at Ibrox, where the visitors scored two late goals to claim a 3-3 draw. The result saw the champions finish six points clear of nearest rivals Celtic and Well's impressive fightback was not enough to keep them above Hibernian, who ended their poor run by beating Dundee United, reports the official SPL website.

Craig Brown's men can still claim a place in the Europa League for 2010/11 but only if Dundee United defeat Ross County in the Scottish Cup final at Hampden on Saturday.

Kris Boyd fired the Light Blues in front after 17 minutes and they were in control when Kyle Lafferty added a second before the break but Motherwell responded through Jamie Murphy.

Lafferty struck again with 20 minutes remaining but, in an incredible finish, Steve Jennings took advantage of a defensive error and Lukas Jutkiewicz converted a stoppage-time penalty.
