Rangers chairman Craig Whyte has admitted that he will have to cut costs to keep the club up and about.
The Scottish giants will face a tax tribunal next month which could cost them around £50million and Whyte has revealed that he feels things will have to change if the club wants to remain comfortable.
"Costs have to be cut going forward. There's no doubt we have got some tough decisions to make," he told STV.
"We've got a business plan going forward which does involve significant cost savings."
And Whyte added that Rangers will go about the next transfer window with a completely different mindset after a few criticisms in the summer.
"We've certainly reviewed how we handled things in the transfer window," he added.
"I think we'll perform much better in how we handle it overall in future transfer windows."
