Gers are in Germany defending a 2-0 lead and McCoist says: "Right from the kick-off, they will certainly come at us and try and get the ball into our box. While they will try and play through little Diego, who is a box of tricks, they also have a really strong physical presence throughout their side.
"I think it will be the first time this Rangers team has had to withstand a barrage right from the first whistle. They will try and put us under as much pressure as possible, as early as possible.
"This is maybe the first time we have gone to an away game in Europe this season with everyone expecting us to go through, because of the first leg result, so it is a different kind of pressure.
"We will need levels of concentration similar to when we played in Belgrade at the start of the season. It was a backs to the wall job that night and the boys defended really well."
McCoist added: "European football is fantastic, I don't care what anyone says. Don't get me wrong, the SPL is our priority as it has to be. But don't tell me there was anyone connected with Rangers who didn't have the hairs standing up on the back of their necks when we walked out to play Bremen at Ibrox last week."
