Rangers forward Steven Naismith is looking to return to full fitness as a much better player following a second serious knee injury.
The 25-year old has been sidelined since October when he suffered anterior cruciate ligament damage, after sustaining a similar injury to his other knee in 2008, and is now pushing his rehab with plans to come back a more accomplished goalscorer.
"I'm going to work hard to get back to where I was and I'm hopeful I can score more goals and take more of the chances I get.
"I want to come back as a better player than I was. That was the case after my first operation and it's no different this time.
"When I return, I'll probably stay back and do more extra sessions, because the key for me now is kicking on again.""Things have gone well and I've upped my training now so that I'm doing the majority of things," he told Blues News.
