Rangers midfielder Juanma Ortiz targets Almeria move

Rangers midfielder Juanma Ortiz hopes to join Almeria on-loan.

The Scottish champions have reached a verbal agreement with the Spaniards over a short-term deal until the end of the season.

A statement on Rangers' official website confirmed on Monday: "A loan deal until the end of the season has been verbally agreed and Ortiz has gone back to Spain today.

"Rangers are awaiting the paperwork to come through from the Spanish side before the loan agreement is completed."
