Rangers midfielder Maurice Edu will see a specialist in London next week as he continues his recovery from a knee problem. Edu sustained the injury in the SPL title clincher against Dundee United at the end of last season.
He was forced to sit out the Scottish Cup Final win over Falkirk and the Confederations Cup with the American national team.
Ibrox boss Walter Smith said: "Maurice is in the United States on holiday and having some medical attention. He arrives back tomorrow and is down to see a specialist next week and then he will stay with us."
