Rangers midfielder Beasley wants first team football

DaMarcus Beasley is keen to remain with Scottish champions Rangers but understands he needs more first team football ahead of next year's World Cup.

The 27-year old American international endured an injury-riddled season in Scotland last term and is looking to gain regular first team football, whether it be at Ibrox or elsewhere.

"I have one more year on my contract with Rangers and I would love to stay, but the management team know that this is an important year for me and I need to be playing regularly," Beasley told Scotland's Daily Star.
