Rangers make bid for Norwich’s Holt

Reigning Scottish champions Rangers have made an offer for Norwich City captain Grant Holt.

It has been reported that ‘Gers, who have been keen on the striker for a few weeks, have now made Holt their number one target.

Rangers boss Ally McCoist expects Nikica Jelavic to join Everton and wants to use that money to secure a quality replacement.

An offer has now been made for Holt but the Canaries have previously made it known that they are determined to retain the much-improved 30-year old.
