St Johnstone have signed former Hearts striker Craig Beattie on a one-year contract after a deal with Rangers fell through, reports BBC Sport. The 28-year-old had been in negotiations with the Ibrox club, but no deal was agreed with the newcomers to Division Three.
Beattie had rejected a new deal on reduced terms with Hearts.
