El-Hadji Diouf could be on his way to West Ham United according to recent reports.
The Senegalese striker enjoyed a successful loan spell with Rangers in the second half of last season, helping them to the League Cup/Premiership double, and was hoping to return to Ibrox on a permanent basis.
Diouf was told by parent club Blackburn Rovers that he would be given limited opportunities next season so he wants to sure up his future as soon as possible and now that his former boss Sam Allardyce has taken the West Ham job, the former Liverpool and Bolton man is eyeing a possible reunion.
"I've worked with many managers. But Sam is cool, he never gives you headache," said Diouf who played under him at both Bolton and Blackburn.
"Sam is the same man as he was at Bolton. He says the same things. He does the same things.
"Only one thing is good enough for him and that is winning. He just does everything to make that happen."
The Hammers are likely to lose some of their key players after being relegated to the Championship with striker Carlton Cole and Demba Ba tipped to depart.
