Manchester City youngster Kean Bryan is wanted north of the border.
The Mirror says Rangers are hopeful of completing a deal for Manchester City midfielder Bryan.
Bryan spent last season on loan at Oldham.
He could seal a move to the Ibrox in a deal worth around £2.5m.
