Rangers have signed Scotland international Christian Dailly from West Ham on a short-term deal until the end of the season.
The 34-year-old leaves West Ham after falling out of favour with the Premier League club.
Rangers have taken over his contract, in a similar move to their capture of David Weir 12 months ago.
Dailly is not in the Gers squad for the League Cup semi-final clash against Hearts on Wednesday evening but he is eligible to make his debut in the Scottish Cup tie with Hibernian on Sunday.
