Rangers are set to land Derby County striker Kenny Miller for £2 million.
Scottish international striker Miller will become the first ever player to move from Rangers to Celtic, then back to Ibrox when he quits Pride Park this summer.
Miller only arrived in August from Celtic, but boss Jewell is clearing the decks.
