Ranger keeper Allan McGregor was questioned by police on Friday over an alleged sex attack, reports the Scottish Sun. The 27 year old arrived voluntarily with a lawyer at a Glasgow police station where he was grilled by detectives.
It comes after a mum- of-two claimed she was assaulted at a flat in the city. A Strathclyde Police spokeswoman said: "A 27-year-old man attended at a police office in relation to an ongoing investigation. His attendance was on a voluntary basis."
McGregor appeared at Aikenhead Road police station with his brief after the complaint was filed last week against him, ex-Big Brother housemate Kenneth Tong and St Johnstone ace Filipe Morais.
All three men have denied claims against them. McGregor branded the allegations a "vile lie" and claims gangsters tried to blackmail him for £100,000 over the claims.
