Rangers keeper McGregor honoured to be with Scotland team

Rangers goalkeeper Allan McGregor says all of his focus is on the Scotland national team this week.

The Glasgow club are currently experiencing a financial crisis and have fallen 20 points behind Old Firm rivals Celtic in the race for the title but McGregor insists he will be putting all of his energy into the Scottish team as they prepare to take on Slovenia on Wednesday.

"It's always an honour to come away and play for your country whenever it is," said McGregor.

"I'm just proud to be here. I'm just here to play for Scotland at the moment. It's just one of those things.

"Every time I come away with Scotland, it's an honour to play. Hopefully on Wednesday night, it's the same thing."
