Rangers keen on departing West Brom midfielder Allan

Scottish club Rangers are believed to be showing considerable interest in talented midfielder Scott Allan.

The 22-year old is set to leave West Bromwich Albion this summer and could be handed a lifeline by 'Gers boss Ally McCoist who is believed to be an admirer according to the Daily Record.

Allan was tipped for massive things when he was a teenager at Dundee United but failed to live up to expectations following his 2012 move to Albion.

During his time at The Hawthorns, he experienced loan spells with Portsmouth, MK Dons and Birmingham City, but could now be set for a return to Scotland with a move to Ibrox on the cards.
