Liverpool striker Dominic Solanke could yet sign for Rangers before tomorrow's transfer deadline.
The Liverpool Echo says Solanke had been linked with a loan move to Rangers earlier in the summer but a switch hasn't materialised.
Solanke sits behind the likes of Roberto Firmino and Daniel Sturridge as Liverpool's central striker but his immediate future could depend on fellow fringe man Divock Origi.
The Belgian looked set for a move to Wolves but that has since hit the buffers, with the player reportedly unwilling to join the Premier League new boys.
Now Solanke will be allowed to leave on loan if the club cannot find a suitable buyer for Origi.
