Rangers and Dutch legend Arthur Numan admits he could've signed for Manchester City.
Numan insists he has no regrets turning down a bumper offer from City over ten years ago.
He told the Scottish Sun: "My worry nowadays is you have a lot of youngsters wanting good contracts before they've shown they're good players. That kind of thing annoys me.
"When I was young I was playing for Twente and could have joined Manchester City. But instead I went to PSV even though City had offered me three times more money.
"I thought for my career it was a better move. PSV were trying to win the league every year and I would play European football.
"Then I developed as a player and had chances to play for Holland.
"If I'd gone to England I'd have got more money but the chance to play for the national team or in Europe would have been smaller."
