Former Rangers star Jorg Albertz is set to sign with Scottish First Division Clyde.
Clyde manager John Brown is a former team-mate of Albertz, who played for Rangers from 1996-2001, scoring 64 goals in more than 150 games. Brown said: "Although he is now 37 his fitness is good and he has not put on weight. I saw that for myself last week when he was with us.
"He is a good friend of mine and he is keen to help out and has a lot of feelings for this country.
"He has a lot of experience which would rub off on our young players and during games he will want to get on the ball and make things happen. It would be a great bonus to have him involved with the first team squad between now and the end of the season and hopefully it will happen."
