Rangers duo being considered by USA coach Bradley

USA national team coach Bob Bradley says he will consider Rangers pair DaMarcus Beasley and Maurice Edu for his World Cup squad.

The pair have both experienced injury troubles in recent times but Bradley believes they are both players who can be valuable contributors in South Africa if things go well from here on in.

"It was nice to see DaMarcus after a period when he wasn't seeing much playing time at Rangers work his way back into the fold,'' Bradley said Thursday. "Obviously, he's had a little setback with this injury but, hopefully, that's not going to be a big one.''

Edu also made a return to action after a knee ligament problem had him sidelined since late May last year.

"It's great that he's back,'' Bradley said. "That's a good example I think of a guy that we've got to look at closely to see exactly where he is in the next few months.''
