Kirk Broadfoot admits he turned down Blackpool to sign a new contract with Rangers.

The Gers defender has committed to a three-year Ibrox deal.

Broadfoot told the Scottish Sun: "The thought of playing in the Premiership with Blackpool was appealing, I'm not going to lie.

"It was a big pull. But I just didn't think it was the right club for me."
