Skysports.com reports Wigan are considering making an offer for Rangers defender Madjid Bougherra. But the Latics could face competition from France where Ligue 1 champions Bordeaux are reported to be lining up a £5.1m bid.

Former Charlton player Bougherra turned down a move to West Brom last summer in order to join Rangers because he wanted to play in Europe.
