Rangers defender Madjid Bougherra says he will know his fate for the rest of the season today.
The Algerian international injured his hamstring in his side's 2-1 Scottish League Cup win over Celtic on Sunday and has flown back to his homeland with the national team to seek specialist advice on the problem.
Despite having the injury, Bougherra trained slightly with his Algeria teammates ahead of Sunday's clash with Morocco but insisted that he still was not aware of his results which would tell him if he can play or not.
"I've had a scan and I have to wait for the results before I know whether or not I can play," he said. "By Friday, at the latest, I will know.
"In my head I'm ready to play but it's not down to me. I have to look after myself and wait and see what the doctors say."
